The Bobbysocks are an alt country folk group with a heady love for gorgeous harmonies and an uplifting energy. Based in Manchester and Hebden Bridge, they first met in 2012, originally performing Andrews Sisters' classics that celebrated their mesmerising vocal medley.

Today, they serve up a mix of vintage favourites with a stunning collection of originally composed and arranged songs that show their love of country, folk and a good old knees up.

Available as a 3-piece vocal group or a 5-piece band, The Bobbysocks are guaranteed to delight.

"Brilliantly uplifting"

Since 2012 The Bobbysocks have performed at secret basement raves, contemporary gallery openings, music festivals, Christmas lights switch-ons, wonderful weddings, and swanky dinner parties across the UK.

The Bobbysocks have played a range of local and national festivals including Manchester International Festival, Kendal Calling, Manchester Pride, Just So Festival, Vintage by the Sea, PUSH Festival, Dogstock and many more.

Their first EP, DIY, was released in 2016. The Bobbysocks are currently recording their debut album which will be full of their vintage vibes and sweet, sweet harmonies.

"We watched The Bobbysocks for the first time at Just So Festival in August. It was pouring down with rain, we were soaking through and our kids were wet and hungry.
But we've never been more happy to sit in the rain and enjoy their brilliant set! They are awesome, and have amazing energy! A fantastic and intimate gig under the tarpaulin that let us hear their fab harmonies and songs right up close."

                         - Elvi Morrison, Mum and Just So Festival Goer

"The Bobbysocks are awesome! I love their songs and dancing. I want to be a bobby sock when I grow up."

                                               - Yasmin, Age 7, Just So Festival

"The Bobbysocks performed at our charity ball last year. They rocked the socks off the audience, got everyone up dancing and wanting more! Love them , can't wait to see them perform again!"

                                                 - Nicola Murton, Pretty in Pink, Derby

"In a busy Festival schedule I tore across town to see The Bobbysocks perform on Festival Square during this summer's MIF.
Thank goodness I did - they were brilliantly uplifting and I will definitely be booking them again. The crowd loved them too!
